Well, I have a very basic setup - Setlist with a coupla songs, each with its own Rack, each with a volume control mapped to the respective plug-in or - if unavailable - to the input of my audio interface.
Now I dearly would love to have a “General Master Output Meter” to dial all those racks to a common output volume to not piss off the sound guy.
To achieve that I’d need some meter to get visual feedback of how loud I am with the respective rack and dial in the right level so all of my sounds are at roughly the same level at any time.
To avoid having to add a soundcard out meter at each and every rack - is there a way to make some kind of “Über Rack” that gets the output level of every “normal” rack and displays the meter bar all the time?
Hope I explained that correctly. I’m not searching for a master output knob/fader, but a meter bar for visual volume feedback.
