Hi all, I have noticed that since upgrading to the latest version, I have to tap my footswitch twice to activate the leslie speed. I use two different leslie sims, depending on the rackspace (PSP, and Mvintage) and it behaves the same regardless. It’s not a big deal but it’s obviously more convenient to only have to tap once. Probably apropo of nothing, but in mainstage I had the same issue so I was excited when I switched to GP and didn’t have this issue. Any help would be great.
Is your foot controller momentary or latching? If you are not sure - open the MIDI monitor window, press the switch once and see what it sends out. It will be either one value or two values.
Are you using widgets or is this going straight to a plugin?
Also - once you “catch up” does it work afterwards or do you always have to press your foot controller twice to toggle the leslie?
When I get home today I’ll check out the stuff that you’ve mentioned. I can tell you that I’m using a “button” widget for both PSP and Mvintage which I map out before I “learn” the footswitch. Thanks for the quick response, i’ll get back to you later when I check out the other stuff.
Sounds good. Please - also send the version of GP you are running and if those buttons have any options like “Treat momentary as latching” or “Invert value” selected.
