Ultra is a new, very interesting wavetable on steroids synth from Ultra Audio. The only problem for me was that it was crashing all the time (the standalone direct to the Windows desktop and the VST3 crashing GP direct to the desktop). Working with Ultra Audio’s support, we solved the crashing problem. I had to disable (set to “Off”) the “Threaded optimization” setting in the “Manage 3D Settings” of the nVidia GPU. Bizarre. At least the crashing has stopped. Also, they just released v1.07 with significantly reduced CPU load on Windows and Intel Macs.
