Fill in gig -- but they tune down

Ok, so I have an upcoming fill in gig and I have existing Song files for about 85% of their material, but they tune down. After creating a new Gig File and importing Songs, I’ve started by using the Transpose option in Setlist View → Song Properties. However, any Chord Maker blocks, and any Midi In “splits/zones” will now be off by 1/2 step, as well as inside Omnisphere, Kontakt etc. After adjusting 5 or 6 Songs, I see this may take some time :wink:

How would you tackle this? Do I just have to suck it up and recreate/double check all those Blocks? Any “simpler” solution?

PS: I have 3+ weeks to complete this task, so I do have some time.

One idea:

You can do some clever things with MIDI Transpose blocks, a System Actions block and some scaled linked widgets. With one dial you can adjust the Global Transpose amount, which then automatically inverts that amount before the Chord Maker block, and then back to the correct transposition after the Chord Maker block.

A bit late but take a look to your audio settings in GP and try changing with the resolution e.g. 44.1000 hz, 48.0000 hz etc. That caused my GP to transpose my sounds a half step lower.

I had a similar issue last week. But, luckily only for about 6 songs.

But, I’m not sure there is any way around playing through each song and listening if you have any problems.

In many cases the exact split point didn’t matter. (But in one or two it did).

In one case where they wanted to bring song down 3 half steps, I lost bass samples. I ended up bringing the song up 9 steps.
