Feature request - radio group mirror/link

a way for a group of radio buttons to be mirrored/linked to other duplicate radio buttons throughout the rackspace, so they all stay synced regarding which track is selected. In lieu of bidirectional plugin control.

use case is using MSuperlooper as an input switcher into 6 guitar plugins, and having radio buttons iterated throughout the rackspace to control MSuperlooper track select. (MSuperlooper track select is not bidirectional). GP is way smarter to mirror/link controls.

panel 1 is input switching, a group of 6 radio buttons to control MSuperlooper track select, next to each guitar rig open/bypass control and mixer level.

Panel 2 is looper control, with another 6 radio buttons to control MSuperlooper track select. (since you’re there already). If you put all 12 radio buttons in radio group 1, one panel lights turn off when using the other panel. If you put panel 1 in group 1 and panel 2 in group 2, the lights stay on but they aren’t synced up regarding which track is selected. (MSuperlooper track select is not bidirectional.)

a way to have the 6 radio buttons on the first panel actually control the track select, and be able to make duplicate radio buttons that mirror/link to the original group of 6.

panel 1: input select, track select 1-6
panel 2: looper control, track select 1-6
panel 3: amp 1, track select 1
panel 4: amp 2, track select 2
etc, etc

While I understand the radio button request, I’m not following your use of MSuperLooper. Are you using 2 instances of it, for 2 separate functions (input switching and looping), or just 1 instance?

You may also get value from using the global rackspace for managing the looping, and then using separate rackspaces for your guitar rigs. Each one of these rackspaces will send audio to the global rackspace and act as your input switcher.

You also have the 16in version of MSuperLooper, where you can directly connect each of your guitar rigs to its own input channels/tracks.

signal chain is guitar in → 16in MSuperlooper, then MSuperlooper outs 1-6 each go to a guitar plugin, which go to the 32ch mixer.

MSuperlooper only passes audio thru the active selected track, so track select acts as an input switcher. you can select track, record loop, then 1. switch tracks and play through another rig, 2. continue to tweak the amp settings of any playing loop, since loopers are at the front.
