Feature Request: External Hardware FX Loop

You could use a hardware A/B or Loop switch/pedal between GP and the pedals. You’d need two house/DI inputs in the A/B case. With a loop pedal, you would put GP into the pedal, and the DI from the pedals’ OUT. The pedalboard goes in the loop. Then you can switch it in and out at will.

Something like this would be great: Lehle Little Lehle III True Bypass Looper Switcher | Sweetwater; there are a million similar options out there. Also this: Boss LS-2 Line Selector Pedal | Sweetwater

you could get fancier and get a MIDI-capable loop switcher, so you could turn the pedalboard loop on/off via whatever midi controller you’re using… and/or via GP itself. The Voodoo Lab PX-8 and HEX products would work great here. midi loop switcher - Sweetwater

Morningstar ML5 also works great. You can’t change the order of the effects, but they have a newer version that does allow. this.

The Voodoo Lab HEX is similar to that. Before I went mostly In-The-Box, i was dream-building a pedal rack with these HEX switchers, slide-out pedal drawers, the works. Couldn’t justify the cost though.
