Expert help needed for London musician

Hi,
I really love what Gig Performer can do.
I’m planning to use it this summer in a live performance.

I’ll be playing trumpet, so I need to do any controlling within GP with my feet.

I have had a Morningstar MC6Pro foot switching unit for a few weeks.
I KNOW that this will be able to do what I want but it’s not very intuitive and, sadly, I’m failing with it.

I’ve had some successes: I’ve made several different rackspaces where it has switched widgets on and off and I’ve had sustain pedals and expression pedals working through it via widgets. However, as soon as I add more to the setup those things I had working inevitably go wrong.

I’m not normally too bad with technical issues but this thing has been driving me insane.
I’m at the point now where I know that I DEFINITELY need some personal help from someone who thoroughly understands MIDI. :folded_hands:
Preferably they should know Gig Performer, too.
Best of all would be someone who knows the Morningstar MC6Pro, also.

I would be happy to travel pretty much anywhere, with my gear, to meet up for some help. I’d even be happy to pay!

Yes, I can. But for anyone to be of any help, you will have to be more specific than ‘things I had working inevitably go wrong’. With the current statement it could also be the case that baking a cake fails :grinning_face: (no offense).

Things people are needing to help you:

  • The current setup
  • What you’re trying to add/change
  • What stops working or is starting to work incorrectly

Probably more. Maybe you could upload a minimal version of your gig file too.
