There is a crash that was reported a few days ago in Sample Tank 4 (VST3 edition).
Are you (@bpeterson) using Sample Tank 4 vst3 by any chance?
If so - this is most likely the culprit. Let me know and I can provide you with more details that can be submitted to the IK Multimedia so they can take a look and maybe fix the issue.
Yes, I am using LOTS of ST4 VST3 plugins!! Please provide any details necessary to work with IK on this issue. I’ve also had situations in GP where I had to “re-load” the sample in a ST4 plugin, almost like it forgot the sample/instrument I selected. Perhaps related?
Would the same issue exist if I used the VST plugin, instead of the VST3?
All we can give you is the exact address where Sample Tank 4 crashed inside their code. If you provide this information to IK Multimedia - they may be able to tell what’s going on and maybe fix the problem is one of their updates. They have been typically very responsive.
