Elektrik Piano is not being found and added with Plugin Manager. It’s located under Program Files and should be seen as 64 bit. I have several GForce applications, including Minimonsta and OSCar (purchased around the same time as Elektrik Piano, so equally old), which have been found and added by GP.
Just wondering if there’s a solution or known issue.
What is the exact path of the plugin?
Is that path listed as one that gets scanned by GP?
If so, does the plugin show up in the Failed list, located at the end of the Plugin Manager list?
The path is C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Elektrik Piano
I added it to the selected folders to scan list. And yes, I get the Deactivated after failing to Initialize message after trying t scan it.
I don’t understand – the only “Elektrik Piano” with which I’m aware (with that spelling) is from Native Instruments and that one is an “Instrument” that runs inside Kontakt. It’s not a plugin by itself.
What does GForce have to do with this – that’s a completely different company.
Yes, it’s Native Instruments Elektrik Piano, as stated in the subject line. I bought it about 15 years ago (prior to Kontakt). The GForce apps are referenced for context. They were purchased around the same time so they are equally old. They were found and added with no problem.
Well, you’re not going to find Elektrik Piano as a plugin as it is not itself a plugin. As mentioned above, it’s an instrument that Kontakt (and possibly Kontakt player) loads.
So you need to install Kontakt if you don’t have it — Kontakt is a plugin. And then you need to load Elektrik Piano into Kontakt.
Being 15 years old, there’s a good chance that it’s a 32 bit plug-in, and those aren’t supported by GP. That would explain why it’s showing up as failed.
