Custom setlist and "All songs" setlist

Hello,

My band performs with a setlist, but we also regulary switch to a song not on the setlist. I use MobileSheets to change the songs and see the charts. Actualy don’t really need a screen to show the GP screen (it just always works).
But i would like to be able to create a setlist in GP, based on the band setlist (use predictive loading) and if a song is not on that setlist it will select the song from the “All songs” setlist and when selecting the next song which is in the setlist, revert back to the last used setlist.

Reason i would like to do it this way is to be able to use the predictive loading feature to quickly change songs within the setlist. The one time it switches to the “All songs” setlist it’s acceptable to wait a few seconds to load the song.

Mayby someone found a way to do this?

Why not add a song to the current set list when needed?
There are shortcuts to do that.

No, but try to use the full song list for each particular band I am in, and then just revise the order for each gig. (So, there will be a bunch of songs at the end of the list that are not on the setlist).

That way I know I can switch to a song that band does at any time.

I do not use Predictive Loading, but I think this may still work for you.

I think that won’t work, then i would need to change the setlist instantly on stage. I just want to select a song in Mobilesheets which select the songs instantly.

So do I - and so I don’t bother with individual setlists — I just have the entire list of songs in the list and MobileSheets will open the right one.

I use that approach now to, but with over 200 songs in our list it just takes a long time to change the setlist very time. I hoped it would be possible by quickly adding the songs to a new setlist and just leave the “All songs” with all other songs. In mobile sheets i can quickly select a song on the fly, bit in GP not. I would need to bring a keyboard, mouse and/or touchscreen which i don’t need now. Only would like to improve the speed of loading most songs by using predictive loading without a lot of preperation time.

What if happen if you had all the particular band’s songs in the GP setlist, with the top 35 (or whatever) making up your actual setlist.

Then if Mobilesheets selects a song within that list, would it change the song within the setlist?

So, if it is within the Predictive Loading range, it should be instantaneous?

Of course, it you select a song outside of the Predictive Loading range (via Mobilesheets), it would take time to load.

[I’ll stop now because (due to my cheap tablet), I do not take advantage of this.]

Actually for now this seems te best option, i don’t need to rearrange the setlist in full but selecting the most used songs in the first part of the setlist give the most change the song will be preloaded.
