Crash on gig performer when I load my gig file - and then change audio output

When I load my gig file - its fine - most of the time - occasionally it crashes on load up - however when I change the audio from MacBook speakers to Motu M4 - it crashes - I attached the PDF of the report because its so big it won’t fit here.

The plugin CP 70 is crashing

Yep — unfortunately, some plugins don’t properly handle being reset. You should report this to Arturia and give them that crash report.

If possible I would make the change in an empty gig file first.

I can load an empty gig file and then load the audio but its a pain to do that every time as a workaround - I removed the Arturia piano that was crashing the load up - but still get a crash on chasing audio (attached - with text edit - is there an easier way to share these crash reports?)

so frustrating - the crash file is an RTF (text edit in Mac) because it can handle the whole crash file - but now Im pasting as an RTF then converting the crash file to a PDF - now uploading again…

interesting - when I rapidly click the apply button while the spinning wheel of death is turning - it starts to load - if I leave it - it crashes…

@jweisgal

This is a known bug that has been reported before on these forums - but it is not a GP bug — you have an Arturia CP-70 and it is crashing - the top of the stack in the crash report shows this definitively

Not sure what you actually removed (and how) but the crash is most definitely the CP-70 according to that last crash report you posted 23 minutes ago!

That’s frustrating - I removed it from the gig files plug ins - it seems that when initially loading and crashing I took the vst out and replaced with the vst3 - that solved the general loading and crashing problem.

Never solved the audio issue though

So ARTURIA suggests I remove and reinstall the software - which begs the question - if I delete the software and reinstall- will GP work as if it never left? (The plugins)

I suppose, that yes!
