Copy widget values between variations

I have a rackspace with some effects that handles many songs via variations.
So every song part has a variation of that rackspace with specific values.
What I am missing is a quick way to copy a widget value from one variation to another, isn´t any way to do that? I would love to see like a right click contextual menu with copy and paste for example.

All variations of a given rackspace already have all the widgets….the widgets belong to the rackspace, not to the variations

Yes, I meant the widget value, not the widget itself.
So if I have a delay value of 400ms for part A on song 1 and want the same for part B or same song, I would like to just be able to copy and paste.

Do you know the widget property “Ignore Variations”?
You can also shift click on a widget (while not in edit mode) and then in the popup menu choose “Set as Default Value”.
Now when you double-click on the widget the value is set to the default value.

Song parts are mostly just a “shell” to link to a rackspace variation.

Are you using a different variation of the song part? Could you just re-use the same variation in that song part?

Alteratively, if most things are the same in the rackspace, but you are bypassing some plugins, you could create a new variation (or even use the same variation and save different variation settings as a “snapshot”).

Actually, I think you need to describe in detail exactly what you are trying to do.

I think he is looking to quickly copy the value of a widget and paste it to another widget.
In Edit mode, Right-click brings up the context menu and there is a selection for Copy—but that just copies the widget itself, not the value. I think the request is to have a selection of Copy Value/Paste Value.

@AlvaroH At current, the way to copy the value of a widget is to actually copy the numerical value of the widget in Widget Properties and paste it in that field in the other widget.

Yep, I think this has been raised before. I don’t think it can be done and implementing it is more complicated than may appear.

Yes, what I have is rackspacea with some effects for guitar.
It´s a U2 tribute show, so I have 2 rackspaces to cover the 80´s era and the other one for 90´s and forward.
So I have multiple songs that use the 80´s rack for example, and they vary the delay times and some overdrive settings.
Then, a song can have two or three parts, but maybe only the overdrive changes, and I want to keep same delay times on those variations.
But if I decide to increase de delay time on that song, I have to manually do on the widget for all the parts of that song.
So what I would like is just to be able to copy and paste the value, but it looks that is not possible.

@pianopaul Thank you for the set as default and double click suggestion, so I can set a default value and then double click to ¨paste¨ it.
Not super intuitive but it could work for my case, so I can easily copy and paste values between variations.
