Cant get patch persist to work

I never had to use patch persist previously - but now i need to use, it just doesnt work with this gig Im trying.
there must be a way around this - attached photo and gig

NO_PATCH PERSIST.gig (1.3 MB)

It’s the additional MIDI In (Local GP Port) blocks that are the issue. If you bypass or remove them, patch persist works fine.
Why do you need those blocks?

I have 2 inputs (upper keyboard and lower keyboard) with those two inputs i only have to change those in rig manager - otherwise I’d have to change 8 different inputs in every rackspace-- there may be easier way?

How exactly are you using Rig Manager and what do you do with GP Local Ports? I also have two controller keyboards and I don’t any issue having several MIDI In block of these controllers with different splits…

In rig manager
Novation impulse 1 to alias upper
Novation impulse 2 to alias lower

I have two other rigs using upper and lower keyboards

Then I only have to manage rackspace upper and lower in rackspaces

The multiple gp local midis are for splits and transpose

Why do you need a separate block for that?

But why don’t you use your upper and lower Rig Manager defined aliases with different splits and transpose for this? When changing to two new controllers in Rig Manager everything will be fine again. Simply stop to use Local GP Port blocks for this.

Sorted that’s what I’ve done.
