Can't Edit Wiring View

Hi had a script issue which can disable edit of wire view (clicking edit on wire view loads the panel view). I deleted the script and recompiled, global and local rack scripts. Edit was still disabled. I restarted GP. I restarted Mac. I loaded a hello script which compiled and ran. I opened a old gig file so see if there was something in my file. I started in safe mode and turned off scripting loading. All this and still can’t edit the wiring view. Curious, I created a new rig and could edit, but, once saved I couldn’t edit when reopening it.

Please, what can I do to fix? My guess is the issue is somewhere in a gig temp file or setting.

Can you create screenshots?

The edit button in the toolbar only relates to panel view. There is no specific edit mode for wiring view.
