Can you name the benefits that makes Ableton Live a lesser choice for live performance when you need mainly a bass and drums backing in the form of session clips etc in Ableton.
I play guitar over these tracks. My VST are mainly the free Native Instruments Kontak7 and Addidtive drums but I have drums in the Live suite as well. Windows 10 32 g ram, all vst are on internal SSD.
Feel free to share any other benefits/insight .
Thank you.
For this use case ableton for backing tracks is ideal.
With GP you are much more flexible in sound design for playing vst live.
And with Link you can sync Ableton and GP perfectly.
You cannot compare Ableton with GP
Both address different scenarios but have a little overlap in features.
