Bulldog Sax V2 - Tip for fixing missing file issue

I own the Bulldog Sax V2 plugin.

It’s a Kontakt plugin, but can’t be loaded as a library in newer Kontakt versions. You have to go the File route and chose the .nki file.

If you during loading it this way get a message about a file that can not be found, here is the fix;

The missing file is

Respiração.wav

in the samples folder. The file isn’t really missing. The Window unzipping just hasn’t got the special characters at the end of the filename right. Just rename the file, so it’s named

Respiração.wav

and the missing file message is gone.

Yes, support for ZIP files in Windows is somewhat limited when it comes to special characters. It even won’t ZIP files which names are say in Serbian Latin or Cyrillic. Better use an alternative such as 7zip or Pea Zip.
