Blue3 - organ sound drops out after a few minutes, can only hear the key click

I do not think it has anything to do with the midi in block, the issue was happening in a

different .rig file and had a completely different midi in block. I use a variety of keyboard controllers

however when the issue happens, all controllers are affected equally. I just get the clicking sound

and no Organ tembre.

Modx8, Arturia Keylab61ES, Arturia Keylab61 MKII, Yamaha P45, Yamaha Mox8

These same controllers are affecting many other plugins, Pianoteq, Kontakt, Fm8, Arturia Mini V3

and I have never encountered this issue. I think its something very weird with Blue3

Also when the issue occurs, only Blue3 is affected, the same midi in block works fine for all

the other plugins.

Are you sure the plugin gets Note on messages and not only Note Off messages?

I tested the midi in and it is recieving both NoteOn and NoteOff messages. If I block NoteOff

notes never end, and if I block NoteOn then notes do not sound. Both are needed.

As I should. But at some point we asked you to block all events EXCEPT NoteOn and NoteOff to see if that made a difference. Did you try that?

I am working on that now. I started by blocking everything not critical to todays performance,

and if that isn’t enough I will block everything when I get home tonight after the gig and test

further.

If your Plugin is younger as your last windows version then you may have to update your windows version (version 10 is not supported anymore..)

I tried to avoid any windows update to “freeze” the working status, but I figured out that this doesn’t help on long term.. I had a couple of minor, but disturbing the smooth flow, issues, independent of the VST, after updating windows (11) the issues were gone.

Where are you seeing that Blue3 is not supported any more in Windows 10?

That’s not what I meant to say; At least in Germany win10 is not supported anymore since October 2025, so if the VST is younger, maybe it’s an issue of windows, not caused by GP
