I’ll be filling in with my brother’s band Sugar Mountain (a Neil Young tribute) for 3 shows at end of July, culminating at the NJ Festival of Ballooning (attracts like 160,000+ people over the weekend). Excited and terrified at the same time…as a lot of this material is new to me. At least I have ~20 days to learn the show and have some of their live stage recordings! I also have 2 “smaller” theater gigs that weekend to work out the nerves (one show has ~700 tix sold!).
My usual setup should work just fine: Novation 61SL Mk3 and ASUS ROG laptop. So far, it’s been mostly piano and organ stuff. I’ll be relying heavily on the Song Lyrics/Chords editor for sure!
Oh, and look who’s on before us (albeit a different stage)…no pressure right?
