Best "Suffix" for Intel Proceesor for GP

I recall reading a post where a certain “suffix” (U, Y, H, K, etc.) in the intel cpu spec caused a big problem in performance.

In purchasing a new laptop, are there preferred ones and ones to definitely avoid if you are using the laptop basically exclusively for GP?

Jeff

You can read about some of the suffixes here.

Stay away from anything ‘energy efficient’ or ‘low power’.
Look for high performance.
