Beginner question - where to create scripts?

Forgive me stupid question, but I can’t see any documentation on where to actually create scripts, the documentation seems to only cover the syntax.

I want to fire a midi contol change when a certain bar is reached using on BeatChanged, but don’t understand where the script should be defined.

I see there’s a midi scriplet, but when I try to use that it says “not valid in this script entity”.

Where do I create the script to hold this command? does it need to be tied to a widget?

The script editors are accessible via “Window” in the menubar.

You have a local rackspace script, a global rackspace script, and a gig script. Which one you use is dependent on what you’re trying to achieve.
