Bankwechselbefehle werden im Gigperformer 5 an dort integrierte HALion 7-Plugins nicht durchgereicht. Der “Global MIDI-Monitor” zeigt diese zwar an, aber nur im Stand-alone-Betrieb von HALion 7 bewirken Bankwechselbefehle auch den Wechsel innerhalb der Bank, wie das auslösende MIDI-Gerät diese gesendet hat.
Der Support fühlt sich hier nicht zuständig, so eine Konstellation weiter zu untersuchen. Kann mir jemand in diesem Forum helfen.

If you are on a Mac, you can try the AudioUnit (AU) format.
Ironically, Steinberg decided that they quit supporting MIDI Program Changes for the VST3 plugins.

But let’s start this over Why do you need to send program changes to the plugin directly?
You can always use different rackspaces, which is beneficial in many ways (Patch Persist, etc.)
von vorne anfangen verstehe ich nicht, ich habe das erste mal eine Frage in das Forum gestellt, weil ich vom Support unzureichende Unterstützung bekommen habe.
Also: Ich bin es seit Jahre gewohnt, meine Songs (Presets) aufzurufen und diese mit Arpeggien und besonders gelungenen HALion-Sounds zu ergänzen. Das hat mit HALion Sonic-Paket (schließt HALion 6 ein) hervorragend funktioniert.
Der erwartete Fortschritt mit HALion 7 ist für mich persönlich nun ein Rückschritt. Falls es dennoch keine Möglichkeit gibt, das zu realisieren, buche ich HALion 7 für mich als Fehlkauf ein und kehre wieder zum alten Paktet zurück.
Also, falls es Wege in Verbindung mit HALion 7 gibt, bitte ich um entsprechende Hinweise.

I don’t understand from the front, I asked a question for the first time because I got insufficient support from support.
So: I have been used to calling my songs (Presets) for years and complementing them with Arpeggia and particularly successful Halion sounds. This worked excellently with Halion Sonic package (jails Halion 6).
The expected progress with Halion 7 is now a step back for me. If there is still no way to do this, I book Halion 7 for me as a bad purchase and return to the old paved.
So, if there are ways in connection with Halion 7, I ask for appropriate information.

Also nochmals zur Klärung, ich habe aktuell “HALion 7” NICHT “Halion Sonic 7”.
Ich verstehe so einigermaßen englische Texte, befürchte aber das es zu Mißverständinssen kommen wird, wenn ich auf Englisch beginne zu posten. Also weiter in deutscher Sprache:
HALion 7 setzt im Stand-alone-Betrieb Bankwechselbefehle um, aber nicht, wenn es im Gig Performer 5 als Plugin aufgerufen wird. Im Gig Performer zeigt der “Global MIDI Monitor” doch die richtigen Bankwechselbefehle an. Sie werden -so scheint es- bloß nicht an das H7-Plugin weitergereicht.
Wenn die Seniorebene von Steinberg behauptet, streng nach CST3-Konventionen programmiert zu haben und das im Stand-alone-Betrieb geht, sieht das eher nach einem Fehler innerhlab des Gig Performer 5 aus, weil er die Daten nicht (oder nicht korrekt) an das Plugin weiterreicht.
Hat jemand so eine Konstellation?

So again for clarification, I currently do not have “Halion 7” “Halion Sonic 7”.
I understand so reasonably English texts, but fear that misunderstandings will occur when I start to post in English. So continue in German:
Halion 7 implements bank exchange commands in the stand-alone operation, but not if it is called up as a plugin in the GIG Performer 5. In the GIG Performer, the “Global Midi Monitor” shows the right bank change commands. So they will not seem to be passed on to the H7 plugin.
If the Steinberg senior level claims to have strictly programmed according to CST3 conventions and that goes in stand-alone operation, it looks more like an error in the inner stitch of the GIG Performer 5 because it is not (or not correct) to that Plugin continues.
Does anyone have such a constellation?

Das Problem liegt in der VST3 Implementierung von Steinberg.
Auch in Ableton Live reagiert Halion7 VST3 NICHT auf PC Befehle.
Das ist mit Kontakt7 VST3 von Native Instruments das Gleiche.
In dem YouTube Video wird anhand von Cubase erklärt, was gemacht werden muss, damit Presets über PC Befehle wieder gewechselt werden können.
