Hi all.
Here is a rackspace I’ve created for easy control of 3 side-by-side softsynths.
In this case I’m using 3 U-he synths: Diva, Bazille, and Hive.
This rackspace delivers super-simple discovery and auditioning from patch banks for the 3 synths.
After finding a layer/mix that you like, just save it as a Variation to capture it for future use.
The widget controls offered are:
Bank Select (via knob)
Patch Select (via knob and incr/decr arrows)
Audio Level (via slider)
MIDI Mute (via red LED)
Audio Mute (via red LED)
MIDI Activity (green LED)
Open Plugin (via Blue LED)
MPE Data Off/On (via h. switch)
The “trick” of what’s going on here is the use of Bank Select and PC messages to call up the synth patches, which are -not- natively available as plug-in parameters for connection to widgets.

The rackspace implements this, and you will be able to call up patches from your library with it once you populate your ‘MIDI Programs’ directory for each synth.
