One GIF image speaks more than thousands of words. 
This is new to Gig Performer 4.7.
In this example, I simply hold down the Backspace key and hover over the wires.
Voilà.

As a bonus point, CTRL+Z works here (I tried up to 35 connections deleted with Backspace).
