Autoengage VST by moving expression pedal

Hey everyone,

I want to autoengage wah plugin by moving expression pedal and turn it off when it is at 95% or above after a second.

This functionality is standard in Fractal Audio guitar processors and i got used to it, i would like to program something similar with GP5.

can anyone help to program that?

Yes, this is doable with a GPScript. But, there is a slightly different solution which doesn’t require any scripting. The idea is that if your pedal is at 0 the plugin is bypassed, if not it is active. Hi all, I’m currently migrating from Fractal to Gig Performer, and one feature I really missed was auto-engage wah. So I built a simple GPScript solution: Wah engages instantly when you move the pedal from heel When you return to heel (~95–100%), it waits a bit (~750 ms) Then it auto-bypasses If you move the pedal again before the delay, it stays active Feels very natural and avoids accidental cut-offs.
