Audio Mixers Question - No 'Mute' Indication?

The “MUTE” indication on the Balance and Gain controls is a very handy visual aid and I have been using this control (Bal/Gain) to make a quasi-audio mixer. I have been overhauling my rackspaces and when I realized what I was doing, it became apparent that using the Audio Mixers were a better solution with better options for me, at least at this time. The Rename function makes these visually appealing and informative, but as far as I can tell, unlike the Bal/Gain controls, there is no indication when a channel pair is muted. Am I missing something? If this is in fact the case - I know it’s relatively minor and just an indicator - but would it be worthy of a feature request? Maybe this has been mentioned before? It would be handy. See the screen shots below. (I’m redoing my plugin setup too - disregard the obvious redundancies and conflicts!)

The mute indicator in wiring view is unique to the gain control plugins.
If you wanted to extend this concept to the audio mixers, I think it would at least need to also support the Solo button as well. It could be a slippery slope of requests to add further indicators - where at that point the answer would be: that is the point of Panels view, for users to add whatever they wanted.

Yeah, I thought of that hence my thoughts about whether it was worth it or not. Many users do different things with GP and settle on what works best for them. Panel views are basically superfluous for me and I never use them. I dabbled with them at first but I am always tweaking things so I wind up in the wiring screens all the time. The mute indicator for the B/G controls sticks out for sure. Maybe I never would have noticed if I hadn’t started with them first. Nonetheless, in a perfect world it sure would be handy to have indicators on the various controls in wiring view to indicate their states, but it’s not a showstopper of any kind. I could build a panel view of the channel status but that would involve more clicks than just opening up the control. I’m sure time and trial will sort it all out. Thanks for the confirmation that I haven’t missed something obvious though - much appreciated.
