Audio File Player should start immediately

Hi,

I’m using GP for my Guitar. I have my Setlist configured and the Songparts are selected by midi CC (Controlernumber, not Programmchange).

In one of these Songparts is a Rackspace used, which has an Audio File Player with one Audiofile.
I want GP to play the Audio File immediately, when I select ths Songpart.

For now, I have used an widged, wich uses the same CC-Number wich is for selecting this Songpart.
But now I have to press the Button on my footboard twice. First time: the Songpart is selected, second time: the Audio File Player starts playing.

It would be nice, if the Audio File Player would notice, when the Songpart is activ, and starts playing (of cource it must be configurable).

Is there a solution, that i can only send one Midi CC, so that the songpart is selected AND the Audiofileplayer starts playing immediately?

Greatings from Germany, Bremen

I have never done this, but GP seems to provide for this:

Hi,

thank you for your response. But I can not see, how this will solve my problem.

maybe my english is too badly

I’m using the Audio File Player Plugin in Gigperformer.
When I switch to the songpart, the Audio File Player should start playing.

So in the Song Part Properties I can send Mididata to an external device - not a “start playing” signal to the gigperformer Plugin “Audio File Player”.

Insert a button widget and map it to the Play/Pause parameter of the Audio File Player. Then just use different variations ON/OFF to start playing.
