Arturia Jup-8 V4 crashing [solved]

Mac M1 Airbook (2020)
OS Monterey 12.5
GP v 4.5

GP is opening just fine, and I can create new gig files and rackspaces, but when trying to open a gig or rackspace from my external drive, GP is crashing.

I am able to open gigs and rackspaces from the external drive on my iMac.

I have a backup drive with the gig files, and my M1 is crashing with it as well, while it opens on the iMac.
Do I post the crash report here, or is there somewhere else that would be better?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - this just started happening. Thanks

Are you just talking about a single external drive that you use with both the iMac and MacBook Air?

Where were the gig files originally created and saved?

You can upload the crash report here (save as a text file). It’s normally pretty easy to identify if it’s a particular plugin that’s causing the crash.

I normally just use the external SSD with the Mac Air, but since it started crashing, I tested it on the iMac to see if the gigs/rsackspaces would open, and they did.

I have everything backed up on multiple drives, and the M1 is crashing with them all

I’ll post the crash report in a separate reply

The crashed thread lists the Arturia Jup-8 V4.
Can you disable this plugin in GP’s Plugin Manager and then try opening the gig file again?

I just discovered an issue with my Arturia plugins folder… I have to fix this first, and try again.

I had to reinstall my arturia collection, and that solved it. Your hint pointed me to it - thanks!
