Can you please add some details. You said before that it had stop crashing. So what happened now that made crashes happen again. With the same gig file, a different gig file, something specific you did. Did you change something?

In the meantime I have disabled Amplitude, but the crashing goes on. I have about 40 Gig Files with Cover Songs. And I was just jumping around a little bit between those songs. I appreciate every attempt to help me. As a sidenote I have to say that this is getting pretty confusing because now the original thread is labeled as “solved”. The issue is not solved and I have doubts that Amplitube is the only reason for the crashes. I think that the crash report is from a Gig File where Amplitube has not been used. Amplitube was only activated in the Plugin List. After your advice I have disabled Amplitube because I can live without it, but GP still crashes.
So neither giving GP full disk access nor deactivating completely Amplitube has solved the problem.
Where is the crash report for this crash?
As far as I know you have been using GP with no problems for a long time. So something in your environment has clearly changed that is causing these issues.
Without a deep understanding of what’s changed, it’s very difficult to diagnose what’s happening.
I know you have upgraded to 15.5 and I can tell you that I have seen a lot of issues with Sequoia. Heck on my own recent Mac Mini M4, even some Apple apps have been hanging while everything continues to work flawlessly on older machines.
So what exactly (in detail) has changed since the time everything worked properly and now?
I don’t know what is happening but there is no question that that crash report indicted Amplitube5. Whether the fundamental issue is due to something else on your system is unknown at this point. I have Amplitube5 and it seems to work fine, at least on 15.4, as I have not done the downgrade to 15.5 yet
When you enable predictive load and set it to 1, are you able to load the gig file?
What Audio Interface are you using and what are the settings, sample buffer and sample rate?
How looks your MIDI port options window?
Have you uninstalled Amplitube?
I would think that if it’s uninstalled that would eliminate the possibility of Amplitube being the source of the crashing.
I would still like to (a) see the new crash report and (b) understand what has changed since his environment was working flawlessly.
I have uninstalled Amplitube and until now no crashes. It is too early to say that the crashing problem has been solved because I have opened today until now only like 5 Gig Files. I would say I will report tomorrow again if now the problem has really been solved. Thank you very much!
During the last two hours I got no more crashes. This looks good.
Maybe you should check whether there’s a new version and also perhaps send the crash report to IK
