Gig Performer in Action

I’m a keyboardist, sound designer and music educator from Brazil.

I make free keyboard tutorials for songs I love, synthesizer programming tutorials for sounds I love and sound packs for VST based rigs and the Roland Fantom.

I also teach in my keyboard course and synthesizer programming course.

I played with a Pink Floyd tribute band for 6 years, which led to the creation of Floyd Keys Deluxe, a premium sound pack for VST based rigs. A year later I created an equivalent sound pack for Rush and recently (July 2026) I released Rush Keys Deluxe V2, which is mainly based on Gig Performer.

I also make sound packs for the Roland Fantom, my workstation of choice (I’ve had Kronos and Montage M but I prefer the Roland workflow / UX / UI).

My audience repeatedly insisted I try out Gig Performer, and I confess I hesitated for a few months to switch over from MainStage, but when I finally did I wish I had done so way sooner, because Gig Performer is so much more stable, reliable, packed with features and active support from the creators and community.

I began using GP in early 2026, and from now on all of my VST sound packs will be primarily based on Gig Performer. You can say I’m a “power user”, I extensively tested GP while making Rush Keys Deluxe V2 and I did not find one single bug or problem with it. Everything works flawlessly, it’s lighter on the CPU that all competitors, it has more features and possibilities than all competitors and I love the fact that the panels are 100% customizable, making it possible for us to build our own “front end”.

Floyd Keys Deluxe V3 comes out September 20, 2026!

In 2023 Tim Starace from YYNot (Rush tribute) found a video of mine teaching about the Oberheim sound from the song Subdivisions, which led to us developing a good friendship and him later inviting me to fly out to the USA and play a song in Bubba Bash 2024, his fundraising tribute concert that happens every year to celebrate Neil Peart’s legacy.

Here’s a picture of everyone on stage, including Tim Starace, Mike Portnoy, Frank Bello, Michael Mosbach (Neil Peart’s close friend and former Rush head of security) and many others.

I have both of your previous Floyd packs, and just got the Rush pack. Waiting on the next Floyd pack. First rate products.
