AI on new MacMini 4

Hi, This is a question that has to do with optimizing a new Mac Mini M4 which I’m picking up tomorrow. I understand that there will be AI on it. My question is do you think that having AI onboard will make the MacMini run less efficient when using music software such as GP. Just curious and thanks!

A friend of mine told me avoid the new OS when possible.
For audio Sonoma is running well.

Unfortunately since this MacMini M4 is a new release there’s no option to install Sonoma onto it.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Ai is there to be used and ignored if not. It doesn’t do things without you wanting it to.

Did you have any luck with the Mac Mini M4? I am thinking about picking one up.

Totally happy I got it! It runs Omnisphere,Keyscape and Kontakt 7 stand-alone or with GP very well.I just got the base model and use external SSD

What process did you use to transfer Plugins, GP and other files to the New Mac Mini? Did you put all that on the External SSD?

GP I unauthorized and uninstalled. I have both Omnisphere and Keyscape so I had the Steam folder for them on an external drive and any other plugins that have big content on that drive. Also made sure that any other plugins that need to be unauthorized are. I just download and install the plugins on the new computer. Also a good idea is to make sure your plugins are compatible
