Hello new user here. I have an axe fx 3 that runs into my xair 18 into my pa. Im trying to find a way to use the axe and the amp sims i own together and controll them with the fc 12. I put what i have into global rackspace but which interface ahould i use the axe or xair 18? I want to make each member thier own rackapaces and process the mixer inputs. Id like to be able to have the amp sims run through the pa with the axe fx switching everything and blend the options. Ty for help
Given your use cases, I would definitely go through the xair. I’ve been using an xr18 for eight years now on both Windows and MacOs. The XR’s flexibility, routing and rock solid performance have been amazing. You could always route your AXE through analog inputs on the XR with room for significantly more growth. I use the XR18 as interface, guitar input, mic input and keyboard submix. My guitar wireless and headset mic wireless both go through the XR and get routed into GP. One fun fact of this approach is then I can use my headset mic through a vocoder and kill the send (AUX 1) going to front of house for my vocal. I’ve been known to use this as a pseudo talkbox when doing songs like “Sweet Emotion” by Arrowsmith. It sounds good enough that no non-musician audience knows the difference.

Thanks so i guess i could set the fc 12 as a midi controller.. the axe has midi out. Then just run gp with the mixer
