FYI, GForce has recently released the first Sequential approved and badged Prophet 5 VSTi. Like all GForce plugins, it’s not cheap, but on first hearing, I like it better than the one in the Arturia V Collection. It’s on an intro sale at GForceSoftware.com. The email I received had a code (GFP5) for an additional 10% off.

I haven’t used u-he’s Repro 5 recently, so I should probably create several presets for all 3 (GForce, Arturia, u-he) using the same settings and switch between them to satisfy my own curiosity.
How’s the CPU usage?
Depends 
Not low. I loaded the GForce, Arturia and u-he Prophet 5 VST3’s. With the other two bypassed, using the CPU meter in GP, GForce idled around 13-14%. Arturia idled around 3-5%. u-he idled around 6-7%. GForce is at v1.0.1. I would expect some CPU optimization as it matures.

What is the CPU usage when played?
Does their plugin have effects? If so can you turn them off? Unfortunately some developers leave effects processing on all the time even if there is no audio to process, leading to higher idle values.
I found one evolving pad where the CPU bounced around 25% and spiked to 30% a few times.
So, at the moment, this thing’s a CPU hog.
Curious how this plugin compares to the Cherry Audio P-10. I used to have a Prophet 5 which I sold in the early '80s. I still regret selling it.

Just wanted to say that I have the plugin, it really is excellent.,To my ears better sounding than the others I have, and I have a few. By better I mean more musical, more usable in a live context, and less ‘plugin sounding’. No cpu issues on my old MacBook Pro M1 so can heartily recommend.
