I already saw this announcement yesterday on the Gear News page… a user-comment said, this plugin was permanently trying to make an appointment at the auto repair shop…
No kidding: Have you tried it yet? How does it sound?
Would be a cool easter egg if there was a hidden sound of the latest KIA model…
It was so odd that an auto manufacturer released a VST plugin that I had to try it out though I didn’t expect much. I could use a few patches for solo voice, but let me put it this way. I will have to wait until Hundai or Samsung Renault release their plugins! Yes, Samsung assembles Renaults from what I read. These auto makers should invest in Sonic Cat based in Korea to make decent plugins. I run Calliope and Purity in Windows and Mac. Basically very usable romplers. While at it, the Korean government spent millions of dollars to sample and release VST instruments of their traditional folk instruments. They are available for free. They used to have have IOS versions, too. I got a hold of a professor of music at Seoul National University who was in charge of the project. I told him that I could connect him with a small company in Austria which makes ethnic sound boards. The company was willing to make sound boards out of those VST instruments of Korean traditional instruments. He loved the idea and flew to Austria only to hear from his own government later that they didn’t want release hardware version.
LOL. Amazing that you can find stuff like this with ease.
