Thank you for your considerations for alternative sampler-plugins, but this is not what i was after.
This project is rather a proof of concept and the main aim was to try what can be done without third party plugins…
Is there a way for me to adjust the starting point of the sample? The samples are not perfect and I need to adjust the starting point and possibly ending point of the sample. Can this be done on here?
You may have to experiment with the Streaming Audio File Player. This has the ability of placing markers wherever needed and defining what happens at those markers.
Hello, Love this!! Is it possible to save this as a Panel so that I can add this to an existing Rackspace. I would to be able to use this in some of the Rackspaces to trigger samples. Thank you
A panel will not help, as you neeed all wiring and internal plugins.
A panel only saves the layout and widgets.
So Could I, in Edit view, copy just the front panel, past it to a new panel and then save that as a Panel?
A rackspaces consists of wiring and plugins (in the wiring view) and a GUI at the front.
A panel is just the GUI.
So when you want the whole plugins and GUI in a new rackspace why not export the original rackspace and import it into your gig file and refine it after import?
Not sure I’m following what you’re saying, but if I already have a rack space open how could I insert it into this existing rack space as another panel underneath? Hopefully this is making sense.
You have a rackspace without the 8X Soundboard, right?

Open Gig Performer
Load 8x Soundboard
Goto wiring view
Select all plugins
copy
Load your gig file
Select your rackspace
Goto wiring view and past what you previously copied.
The same you can do with the widgets of the 8X Soundboard.
Or you just Import the 8X Soundboard rackspace and enhance it with the objects you need.
You cannot merge a rackspace with an existing rackspace for the wiring and the GUI just with a click.

Exactly that is not possible… sorry.
Only thing to do, if you absolutely need to have the soundboard within another existin rackspace is to separately
a) copy the panel
b) copy the wiring
c) restore/rebuild every parameter/controler connection for each separate widget by hand
Lots of tedious work with many chances for mistakes.

I was thinking the same thing but I was hopeful that there was another way. Maybe a merge function might be a good option for GP down the line
