If you are talking about the Kawai VPC1, it is the MIDI piano controller I use, but it cannot be compared to any other MIDI controller here. It is really, really heavy, has no knobs or buttons and no aftertouch. Having said, it has probably the best piano keybed of the market with “real” piano hammers inside. So it is definitely not an all purpose MIDI controller. Here is what I had to do to be able to move it alone:

Well, even if you are young (I am not really anymore), moving a VPC1 alone is really tricky. I have a broken back and putting the piano in the flightcase or taking it out is a feat. Putting the flightcase in or out of the car is another challenge. The only solution I found was to make a custom flight case with room to put my hands inside and no less than 8 handles on the outside.
