I also started with the Stage version, which honestly was absolutely sufficient, but there once was a sale or special offer (i can’t remember why and what) which was quite tempting so i upgraded to the next licence level… the additional editing options are quite nice but i dare to say that it’s nothing essential for most of the use cases.
So that Arturia V collection was on sale a couple of months ago and I bought it. So far I’m finding it very useful. One of my favorite instruments is the Juno6 software. Having bought a Juno back in the early 80s I’ve really enjoyed using it with Gig performer. I still like the Juno chorus quite a bit.
Analog lab V is fun too. There are enough ways to tweak the sounds even though you don’t have full controls. Given I also own the individual instrument means I can do whatever I like tweaking sounds. This is one of my first major VST purchases and so far I think I’m pretty good for now.
