Patch Persist Not Working. Also Popping When Switching In Setlists

I was able to test this before K left and it still is cutting off.

Any other ideas? Were you able to reproduce this on your end?

Can you create a gig file with a single song containing just two parts (say), each going to a different rackspace with patch persist enabled?

(I assume by the way, that you’re not trying to do patch persist where multiple song parts are going to the same rackspace)

all the songs I’m referencing have one song part, so I’m not switching between parts, just between songs with different rackspaces.

I won’t be able to set this up and test it until after I get off work later this afternoon.

@dhj It does seem to work with a clean gig file using omnisphere and switching between song parts.

And I just checked that if I have two songs, each with just one part, and each part tied to a different rackspace, then patch persist works fine there as well.

So if you take your example, and now have two songs, each with one part, each part pointing to a different rackspaces, what happens?

@dhj That still works

In that case, I don’t understand your report where you said patch persist is not working

It’s working when I create a new gig, but in the gig I linked to above it doesn’t work as expected. All of my racks have persist on but it only works when selected racks within panels, but doesn’t work in Setlist mode. It used to work and stopped working within the last week or so. See the video above for an example

So I say that and went back to my main gig file to rehearse and it’s working again. In a message I posted in December it did the same thing. Everything was persisting, it stopped, Paul sent me a gig file which I opened and it persisted again and then I opened up my main file and it worked again. I don’t know why this happens. I know I might sound crazy, but there is no explanation for it. It’s intermittment.
