Good, glad you got it working!
Also, I don’t know if there are VST and VST3 versions of the plugin. If so, there is a shot that the other version might work correctly.
(Not sure if this option was already mentioned in this thread).

Ok this tends to confirm that that plugin cannot handle bypass requests that are not coming from the main thread. It should be able to and as you have noted, other plugins have no issue with this.
I would encourage you to report this issue to UAD
Thank you. I will report this issue to UAD. Just to confirm, which thread is it that UAD plugins seem unable to handle bypass requests from? In other words, when GP sends a bypass request as a result of a variation change triggered by a MIDI PC or the Stream Deck extension, which thread is actually sending that request?
It is not a question as to which thread sent it other than it was not sent by the MAIN thread. Developers will know what that means.
By the way, I don’t KNOW that that’s the issue - but both mouse clicking and key arrow up/down work and those are on the main thread - the other ways of switching variations are NOT on the main thread. That’s just a clue as to a possible cause
OK. I will report the situation to UA. Thank you!
This bug seems to be fixed now with the latest update of UAD plugins.
