Next and Prev Variations are skipping

I think I’m missing something. I mapped the Next and Prev variations (global midi) to a CC button on my keyboard. (set to send on “press” only) Every time I press my CC, it skips a variation instead of switching to the very next variation.

Has anyone experienced this?

It’s hanging me up.

You probably need to check the Momentary option for next and previous. If you don’t do this, then the variation will change when you press the button and it will will change again when you release the button, hence you’ll skip a variation.
