Now I understand the doubling effect and why it happens.
What I need to do is eliminate the last phase and insert any “future-possible” effects in global and have them bypassed until I need them ( delays, chorus, tremelo, etc etc) on all instruments that I MAY one day use with these effects.
i.e. piano with delay
Ep with chorus or tremelo or delay
Strings and pads with LPF and HPF controllable via 1 - 9 knobs or expression pedal etc etc…
And avoid sending this audio back to local to process the effects there…
Very tedious job, so, I reckon I’m going to leave things as they are this summer and do it at the end of the tour in November or so.
