Thank you for the dmp file.
I’ve checked it and found it was crashing while trying to load one of the plugins (during load of the gig file).
Are you able to constantly crash it again and reproduce the issue?
Please also do the following:
Using Plugin Manager (while no gig is loaded yet) disable all VSTs used in that gig file (Kontakt, Opus, SWAM Sax).
Then reload the gig file, is it still crashing?
If not then please re-enable each of the plugins one by one and reload the gig file to find which plugin causes the crash.
Based on your inputs here we’ll continue to understand why it is crashing and how to solve it.
I have not been able to recreate the crash since it happened. After unsuccessful attempts to reload GP during the show, I remember I had a previous gig file stored on my C drive. I used that one and everything worked perfectly after that.
I did try reusing the gig file that initial caused it trying to make it crash but of course, it wouldn’t do it.
So I’m going to try the disabling the plugins that I used. I’m not sure how to do that but I’ll look it up.
I started using Cantabile. EastWest sent out an update to Opus a 2-3 weeks ago I believe. Anyway, I went to update Opus when it popped up a prompt in Cantabile, but it would just hang. Then I got an error saying something to the affect that “SynthMasterPlayer.VST3” was blocking/corrupt. I wonder if maybe SynthMasterPlayer.VST3 caused the problem. I deleted it and Opus updated perfectly. I was experiencing the same thing in GP where Opus wouldn’t update when I was in it, but it never crashed.
