When I made the VSTHost based package years ago and decided to share it, I managed for it could be installed and used by people having no computer skills at all. Because this music is played by people born before computers age (yes there are still some alive ). To achieve this, I had to preset and lock a lot of things. But thanks to this, many people are now using it worldwide. And the GP package has inherited from that .
I hope I will be able to improve all this further. It is the main reason I have subscribed to this forum as I am sure I have still many things to learn on G.P. from the many experienced people here.
Just to let you know than Jan found a problem with our current G.P package. As all our users also have the VSTHost package installed, the problem was hiddent until now. We tried to use .GP package alone yesterday and found that it relies on some files that are in the VSTHost package environment. So it cannot work alone in its current version. I will correct this asap (just a matter of updating some subdirectories) and let you know when new version is available should you still be interested. Sorry for inconvenience.
