Excellent rock piano idea

Hmmm, I have 62 Rackspaces now, and most use it. I get what you are saying, but Ive never put an instrument in the Globle RS, and I have about 15 different patches I use. I know it’s more than possible but the idea below seems a bit easier to me at this stage, as it means im good to go without have to go through any changes.
I think ive found a solution, just have an identical gig file designed to be used only with the one keyboard for rehearsing, with the correct Velocity curve in place.

I thought about that. But, I think, if you make any changes in the Gig file you will have to duplicate them in other gig file and then go in and change the velocity curves again.

Yeah, thats the only thing, but my plan was to keep a record of any Rackspaces that I change and just export and import those to the second gig file, and make adjustments there. Not ideal, but most of the time any Rackspaces I have already dont get changed once ive started to use them.

Revisiting this thread made me think of something from when I was using Korg Kronos for all of my acoustic piano sounds. Korg put out a number of tutorials with John Shone, the musical director for One Direction. In Stadium Sounds Part 1 with Jon Shone & the KORG KRONOS , John walks through tweaking the piano sounds to sit better in a stadium (for me, just live) setting. While standalone, it doesn’t sound as good, once I was playing with the band, it would sound much better in both my IEMs and FOH.

I’ve been slowly tweaking settings in Pianoteq in a similar way. The stock programs have way too much mechanical and other noises that it actually detracts in a live setting when mixing with other instruments. Maybe this video can spark some ideas for you to translate into Pianoteq.

Piano voicing that cuts through live- interesting?

Thats actually the video that made me mention Elton in an earlier post. Makes a lot of sense.

E Jon sound needs tweaking a bit

OK, he can tell a lot until we really hear the sound

I lost interest at 4 mins and clicked off. Didn’t hear a single note and too much talking.

Strange clip. I hate if somebody tries to praise a setup up to heaven and does not come up with any examples/sound
