Eddie Meulmeester - La Lune Noire

Eddie Meulmeester is the keyboardist for the band La Lune Noire.

Its music is powerful, yet intimate. Wistful, danceable, catchy synth lines, Gregorian choirs, punky guitars, haunting arps and lyrics that really have something to say. All these things are echoes from the 80s that can be found back within the music of La Lune Noire.

Inspired by the likes of Gary Numan, Front 242, Killing Joke, Depeche Mode and early Simple Minds, La Lune Noire reminds you to the new wave era, but have created an authentic and modern sound of their own.

Some photos with Gig Performer

Getting ready for tonight’s gig at Dutch Electronic Masters!

From Eddie’s first Gig Performer performance with La Lune Noire:

It was flawless after testing it enough to get confident with it. I love it!!

I use Spectrasonic Omnisphere, Xpand!, Blue2, Hybrid3, Rob Papen, Predator3 and some more.
I want to play our live gigs with the same sounds he did use to make the original. Every now and then I wander off.

My setup at Dutch Electronisch Masters festival in Best (Netherlands).

My Android tablet runs Bandhelper. I want to try out if the app and Windows-driver of Spacedesk will do any harm on my CPU. It can copy your laptop screen to a tablet (even a very old one). So then I will have two tablets in front of me. And the laptop out of my sight.
