Have you been here, visiting her?

Does that include VAT (sales tax) or they add that on afterwards?

VAT included.

@ Musichandyman_Oscar: My wife and my daughters have already been there, I plan to go there soon.

Yeah, the makes a little more sense.

In the US, prices are normally shown without sales tax because the tax is different in different states, heck even different towns in the same state.

So while 199 euros seems significantly higher than US$ 199 (current exchange rates make it worse than normal) the difference is less than one might think because of the tax.

I’m not sure why, but my upgrade price to v11 was $99. I was quite surprised as I usually have to have a gripe about the large upgrade costs each time.

July 14.-19. is a great time to visit the Molde area. That’s when Molde International Jazz Festival is taking place

We played at the ski resort in Hemsedal a few years ago.

Maybe the Arturia invoice does the trick for @SirTommes, living within the European Union.

For me, living in Norway, their invoicing is problematic. Their invoice specifies a tax (VAT) included that is 20%. The norwegian VAT is 25%, so it can’t be legally used for norwegian VAT deduction.

Arturia doesn’t have the possibility that lots of serious vendors have to specify during checkout that you are a business, and by doing so get their price without VAT. What I could then have done in my accounting, is so called reverse charge, where I add and report the VAT. Since I can’t deduct VAT on music related purchases, because of not charging VAT on my services, I would end up with the price including VAT of 199 Euro, like @SirTommes.

The way Arturia does it now, I have to, at least if I will be a nice guy following the law, use 199 Euro as the basis for my reverse charge reporting, thus ending up with a total price of 199 Euro + 25% VAT
