By direct midi link, do you mean run a cable from the master controller to the sequencer?

Exactly. Also, if you’re not an electro-guy who needs many external hardware to shake himself like a DJ while pressing more light-up buttons than piano keys, perhaps you might also want to consider using GP’s MIDI file player rather than an external sequencer? :innocent:

If you only have the clock available at your computer, you need to route it to several MIDI ports simultaneously. On Windows I use txl midi router, together with loopmidi. On mac I’m not sure, but most of the time that sort of things are easier.
