I bet it was the Youlean plugin, which was reported to have this issue previously.

Global Rackspace on load

So apparently the loading of the Global rack space is not displayed in the loading dialog. I recently experienced a dramatic increase in loading time. Unfortunately, I didn’t really know this because I usually load my gig file before the show and walk away. But at the start of the show GP locked up, I won’t say crashed because it just became unresponsive so I killed the process and reloaded.
