My Surface Pro 6 has just informed me that update 1909 is ready to install. I think this is the one that is throttling machines back to 0.4 ghz.
Not sure if I should proceed, so would like advice on whether this throttling issue has been resolved yet.
I didn’t have any cpu throttling with 1909 on my desktop systems. I haven’t specifically checked my Surface Pro, but haven’t noticed any performance issues with live play.
We’ve been testing GP on Windows 1909 for a while and have not noticed any issues.

I read up on this a bit, and it seems to happen when using a dock or AC. I’ve installed it anyway, so will see what happens.
A Surface Pro user here, too. I have not noticed anything unusual after the update.
