What to do when a widget cannot control vst parameters?

Hi, I’m learning Gig Performer 3 and have struck a vst…Modo Bass… where it cannot control the volume of the inbuilt vst parameters.

Is there anyway to get around vst’s like this that don’t play nicely with Gig Performer?

An alternative I thought of is to put in a simple ‘volume FX’ somewhere else in the chain…and at least use that to control the volume…

Can anyone suggest what I should do?

Thank you…I was having troubles…but then realised I need to put the control between the vst and the output…not between the midi and the vst…
