What’s going on When a vst3 plugin won’t: BUS LAYOUT INPUT to MONO? is it a VST3 issue, is it something the plugin creator can updated?
That depends on the developer.
I watched one of the “developer’s” YouTube videos where he was encouraging people to download that. In the video he said the entire thing was “vibe coded”, which basically means he told AI what to create and it created it. So my guess is that it’s unlikely he’s going to know how to make the “give the plugin the option for mono input” happen, but that’s just a guess.
In the absence of that, I’d just run your guitar input to both the left and right inputs.
ah, so that’s what “vibe coded coded means. yes it’s not a problem, just nice for consistency.
~ thanks
Vibe codes means written by an AI model. Under instructions from a human
I’m wondering if we need to prepare for an onslaught of essentially red-herring issues as more and more people without deep plugin knowledge start creating plugins via AI and then don’t properly test them, thereby making it look like the host (not necessarily just Gig Performer) is broken.
E.g, tell us where you got plugin X. Oh, an AI program created it? Sorry, we can’t support it - contact the “developer” for help!
